I am honored to teach short workshops on approaching Irish songs from the perspective of a non-native speaker.  Often times we see the language and hear the words and can't match the two, or we are afraid of butchering the language we find so enchanting, so we don't sing in Irish.  I enjoy bringing students closer to the Irish language by giving them a head start on a few songs and a list of resources that will make them more comfortable about approaching songs in Irish Gaelic.
